I’m a Bum.

Hello world.

So Spain… amazing place. If you ever have the chance to go, do it. Barcelona was one of the most beautiful cities I have ever visited. I am glad I got two very full days there, but could easily spend two years there. The city is right on the beach, so the atmosphere is laid back and pretty quiet with most of it’s roads featuring massive pedestrian streets to take in the wonderful architecture. It’s also bordered by mountains with incredible 360-degree views of the city, beach, and Spanish countryside. Our hostel was right on the beach, which made it a little easier to wake up early and tackle all there was to do in the city.

I was also fortunate enough to go see an FC Barcelona soccer (futbol) match at the 100,000 seat stadium Camp Nou. 3-1 Barca. A great game.

So the consequence of the beauty of Spain/Madrid/Barcelona is that I took pictures. A lot. I think around 700. I’m rapidly going through them, giving them a quick edit, and I hope to have some posted by the end of the week.

But I didn’t want to leave you with nothing, so I thought you might enjoy the following video. A guy I worked with in Los Angeles, Andrew Wright (the interviewer in the video), has a group of friends that get together on the weekends and shoot sketch comedy pieces. One weekend while I was out there, Andy invited me and Max along to be extras in a new piece they were working on about a “Bum Revolution.” Max and I have only a short line each, but the whole video is pretty funny. You can check out more of their pieces at www.youtube.com/phonz.

Ok, enjoy the video. Pictures soon to follow.
